This position could become permanent for the right candidate. The Communications Associate will have an important role in social media and web content generation and curation. The ideal candidate for this role is driven, organized, has great communication and writing skills, and is ready to enhance their network.

·Maintain and develop social media and web content.
·Create publishing and syndication schedules. As well as track progress of strategies implemented.
·Author and curate social media content including photos, blog posts, posts for promotions, etc.
·Research streamlined initiation projects and detailed inputs as needed.
·Manage website building homepage and other association-wide content sections of the site.
·Prepare reports to measure effectiveness of content. As well as assist with annual budget, affirmative action, and other annual reports.
·Track digital campaigns and website visits.
·Assist in generation of reports used by the President.
·Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in marketing, journalism, or communications.
·2+ years of communications or journalism experience preferred.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office, (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
·Excellent communication and writing skills.
·Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, and excellent attention to detail.
·Experience with Social Media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn.
·Experience with Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe products, HTML, and CSS platforms.
