WHO ARE YOU TO THEM? A Guide to Presenting Your True Self to Employers

This is an interactive discussion and presentation that will promote new awareness of your sense of self, your passions, your skills, and how you present yourself that will be beneficial in job searches and job interviews.

In “Who Are You to Them” participants will take a lot of information about oneself and distill it down to core values, passions, and interests that define the WHY behind your professional goals. It is particularly beneficial as it will equip you with a greater self-awareness around what you can offer a potential employer as well as what you want out of that job. That knowledge will allow you to identify what to ask, advocate for, and discuss in an interview to confirm whether or not it is a good fit for your personality.

As a part of the workshop you will receive new perspective and actionable tools to get to know yourself, your skills, obstacles, and unique passions better that will guide you in the process of searching for your next job.

In addition to the interactive discussion, you will walk away with a three step exercise to complete on your own that will clarify more specifically your unique skill sets and interests for a particular industry or professional direction.

Please, feel free to bring your lunch. Chips & drinks will be provided by Hollister!
